My father came from Appenzell in 1923. He always wanted to go back for a visit, but never found the time. I would like to do it for him one day.

The attempt here is to recycle wool garments and revitalize them, artistically, into a new and reborn existence and give them, as well a practical being. These mats, though they can be hung on the wall, are made to be used on the floor.
