This is the first mat I hooked after coming back from Newfoundland, where I was first introduced to mat hooking. I had no instruction and knew nothing about fabric dyeing.My wife Dorothy, on the next trip to the maritimes, left it on a picnic bench in Newbrunswick. I did hook her another one .
