The pioneer maritimer's had a saying "use it up, wear it out, or do without". The attempt here is to recycle wool garments and revitalize them, artistically, into a new and reborn existence and give them, as well a practical being. These mats, though they can be hung on the wall, are made to be used on the floor.

Hello Larry - Just went through your post again and have decided my favorite of your rugs to date is the bamboo forest. Those wine bottle sacks are a great idea! We need you back at our group for inspiration :)
Took me this long to see your comment among the first postings. I just put the last loop into the dolphin hall runner this am. The binding will take awhile. When this is done I would like to come by and show it. Am already thinking again of my original thought of a Persian design, to go with the front room rug.
The bamboo forest, could be attempted again, with the forest emphasis turned up a notch, maybe.
